May: April Walker, a high school student who suffers from uveitis, organized a spectacular

Fashion Show all by herself. She had media coverage and all.

She raised an extraodinary amount of 10,000 dollars. See

JUNE: The Smith's planned a fundraiser for a baseball game. It was Friday,

June 8th, in Alexandria, Minnesota. For every ticket they sell they will donate $1.00 to the

foundation. Alexandria is the hometown of Sara Smith and they have a small baseball team,

ALEXANDRIA BEETLES. Sara is the Mom of Nolan, who is a young boy suffering from

uveitis. This is actually the third fundraising event for this family.

Also, if you recall Nolan won the prize for the most money raised for the Walk For Vision by

a child.

October 6th 2007, Walk for Vision in Boston and the New Jersey Walk for Vision raise over

40,000 dollars.
